Covid

We are unhappily having to announce one of our volunteers Linda, who makes and delivers the sandwiches tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. It is for that reason we had to shutdown the kitchen and keep our volunteers safe will be operating a much smaller operation from my home.

We will be maintaining social distancing and lockdown measures as we now go into tier 2 in the North East of England. It is for that reason the delivery service we used to run on Sunday morning for the homeless has had to be put on hold temporarily.

Instead I will be dropping off premade, sealed sandwich, a bag of crisps and bottled water to a small number of churches in Hartlepool and Peterlee. Due to the smaller team (me) I only have capacity for around 25-50 parcels.
